THE LIVERPOOL GALLERY

I specialize in unique and stunning portraits of African American Men and Women and Black Culture. My work expresses Black beauty and promotes self-love and inner growth.

I strive to capture the essence, strength, and beauty of the people of African descent. Through my excessive use of bold color and strong themes, I want to place the viewer in a specific mind space in their living space.

BOOK COVER ART: Black Liberation through Action and Resistance

I had the pleasure of creating a one-of-a-kind book cover for Dr. Fredrick Engram Jr.'s first published book. Working alongside Dr. Engram on bringing his vision to life for his book was an incredible experience. This book serves as a call to action for Black millennials and [white] co-conspirators who are either immersed in the work of Black liberation or interested in beginning their own journey toward anti-racism. THE MECCA COLLECTION

Who do you think is the best? well, whomever you choose, you can show your allegiance by owning 1 of 3 or purchasing the whole "Mecca collection''. I created this series of paintings paying homage to the legendary MC's of New York. These men pushed and redefined Hip Hop and our culture to new heights.

" I from where niggas pull your card and argue all day about Who's the best MC's, Biggie, Jay-Z, and Nas ?"

"MY NAME IS MY NAME"

My name is Isaac Liverpool. I was born in Washington D.C. and raised in Silver Spring, MD. I was born in the late 80's and grew up in the 90's. Living in the DMV area introduced me to many influences that sparked my creativity which in turn led me to pursue art. My love for cartoons, Hip Hop, comic books, anime, and Graffiti all played a part in helping me create my world.

MY THOUGHT PROCESS

My philosophy when it comes to creating art is the same philosophy I apply to my life, which is to “always evolve, but never losing my essence”. I want to show the world my growth through my artwork as I mature throughout my career. I want my supporters to come along with me as I embark on this journey of self-truth.
